MediLodge of Richmond Hosts Open Interviews March 20, 2019

"To All the staff at MediLodge of Richmond, All of you are so appreciated for the care given to our mother. We could not help but observe the caring warmth and affection from the staff toward our mother. We often times would hear from several of you how much you loved our mother and said she was one of your favorites. May you always warmly remember our mother every time you hear….. “you-hoo!!” With so much warmth and many hugs. "

"The Family of Erika Laffrey would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for the wonderful care given to our mother while she was a resident at Medilodge. When mom passed away on January 1st, although her family members were not there with her, she was comforted by her Medilodge family, those people who were so important and integral to her daily life. We were told she passed peacefully and was not afraid. Most importantly, mom was not alone. This meant so much to us, and we know mom felt their care and love. Over the months there have been so many staff members who have cared for our mother. While we cannot personally thank all those who have been part of mom’s life, we know that she held a special place in her heart for Ronnie, Linda, Mellisa, Gail, Hailey (Barbie), Larry, Kim, Ava, and many, many more, all very important to our mom’s care until the end. I am certain I did not mention everyone, and please forgive us not knowing each one as well as the other. She never had a bad thing to relay about any staff member. We thank you all so very much for the care you have shown to mom. We miss her very much and still can not believe she is truly gone from us. We want to let you know how grateful we are to everyone at Medilodge."

" I needed therapy to rebuild my strength after my total joint replacement. The staff at MediLodge of Richmond was really patient and genuine. Their knowledge, expertise, and outstanding care got me home quickly. I returned the following year after my second total joint replacement for rehab. "

The staff here are amazing, the day I came in I felt so welcome and since then they have been nothing but positive and supportive. I am so happy with my stay here and if I ever needed to return to a Nursing facility I will definitely be returning here.    

"On behalf of my dad, Charlie, and I, I would like to thank you and your group for all your efforts to make the recent Halloween party such a fun time. I would deem it a huge success. As always, it was so well organized. The quality of the candy was exceptional this year, and the Activities team couldn’t have done more to help the residents participate at their own level of comfort. They are all so good at what they do. My dad has never become too old to enjoy the Trick-or-Treaters. Thank you so much for continuing to provide this delightful afternoon. It was very heartwarming to see all those smiling faces, and to leave knowing he is in such good hands. "

To the Caregivers and Staff at MediLodge of Richmond, "Thank you to all who cared for Norby during his illness. Many helped him to get through the long days. He considered this his home and the caregivers his family. A special thank you to the staff member/friend who painted the beautiful painting that hung over his bed. A better decision could not have been made for Norby than this wonderful nursing home full of caring people!"

Dear MediLodge Staff We would like to thank you for not only the care you provided John, but also for the compassion shown to him and our family. We appreciate everyone who took a couple minutes out of their day to check on him, not because it was their job, but because they cared. The love and support so many of you gave our family throughout his stay on his last day with us will not be forgotten.Thank you.
